SKA Technical Order Manager
Description: S & K Aerospace (SKA) is seeking to hire a Technical Order Manager also known as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in San Diego, CA, who will utilize system knowledge and independent research to provide information for the development of Air Force technical manuals.
Duties and Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to the following:
- Provide subject matter expertise on both MQ-1 and MQ-9 TO Management including change requirement evaluations, incorporation of appropriate information, scheduling, document preparation, printing and distribution.
- Maintains a configuration database for aircraft and systems with the scope of the existing contracts. In addition, incumbent will conduct audits of configuration items to verify conformance to specifications, drawings, interface control documents, and other contractual requirements.
- Support the management function, to include preparing and submitting budget requests.
- Perform liaison duties with Predator program customers, outside agencies and test organizations.
- Maintains an up-to-date listing of relevant system upgrades and change orders. Be a part of the systems integration team to ensure TO applicability is included as an integral part of the systems update cycle.
- Maintains a roster of technical contacts for all relevant systems.
- Analyzes the impact of system upgrades to existing technical manuals.
- Researches existing source data and technical contact to resolve production related technical issues.
- Supports production staff as a technical point of contact.
- Travels as necessary to customer and vendor sites.
- Obtain and maintain Secret security clearance with DoD.
- Provide support and data as requested for administrative purposes and in support of the Quality Management System.
- Must perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: BS in Aviation Technology or equivalent experience. Eight to ten years military aircraft maintenance or logistics, of which at least six years must specifically relate to relevant aircraft systems. Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; strong analytical abilities and research skills; excellent organizational skills; availability for regular domestic travel up to two week at a time; ability to acquire and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Quality Assurance Coordinator
Description: Quality Assurance Specialist will assist in providing a Quality Assurance Program for the Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) Project in accordance with DOE Order 414.1C and DOE Order 226.1, and will be responsible for continuously pursuing enhancements to quality, safety, and reliability. Revegetation Technician
Description: S & K Aerospace is seeking to hire a Revegetation Technician who will support revegetation and general landscaping activities for a portion of the Moab site. General tasks include, but are not limited to, transplanting shrubs, trees, and grasses, control of noxious invasive weeds through application of herbicides and pesticides, sprinkler system maintenance, and routine watering of vegetation.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: This is a full-time, non-exempt position requiring a high school diploma and 2 years previous general landscaping experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to the following:
• Management of daily operations, financial oversight, and strategic planning for Business Development and Sales activities for S&K Aerospace, LLC by establishing and directing a geographically separated Bid and Proposal Team.
• Works with other S&K companies, or outside companies to form Teaming Agreements or Joint Ventures.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Reports on the status of existing opportunities and proposal efforts.
• Works closely with other SKA VPs to ensure overall SKA strategic objectives and business strategies, and ensuring customer alignment across the enterprise. Assist principals in evaluating business development opportunities including cost benefit analysis, breakeven analysis, customer meetings and other duties identified.
• Manage the investigation and qualification of new business opportunities that might fit within the identified business plans of SKA.
• This position manages and supervises all Business Development and Sales personnel, including administrative and other staff as assigned, either directly or adjunct as Subject Matter Experts. Provide leadership and management pertaining to employee relations including: hiring, performance appraisals, wage and salary negotiations and determinations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field, plus Fifteen (15) years of Marketing and/or Operations management experience with a minimum of Five (5) years of specific to Federal Marketing/Sales (required) and foreign military sales (highly desired). A Master's degree in Business Management or Business Administration is a significant plus. Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be deemed to meet this requirement.
