Real Estate Support Specialist - Fort Richardson, Alaska

Description: This is a full-time position providing technical and administrative support to the Real Estate department of the Department of Public Works at Ft. Richardson, Alaska. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: file, post, update and maintain documents of Real Property Accountability and documentary control according to Real Property/Real Estate Regulations and Procedures. Assists with data input into the Integrated Facilities System (IFS) upon department approval. Inputs labor and equipment (L&E) forms for all Master Planning Department personnel. Composes DD Form 1354, DA Form 337 and McKinney Act Checklist for disposal. Retrieves data and units of measure from IFS, Prisms and MC2 for coordination with other organizations requesting data and assist with assembly of packets for the ISR and site studies performed by Real Property for the two Army installations. Maintains worksheets, categories and functional groups as specified for Real Property assets on Fort Richardson. Collect appropriate data, maintains records and documentation for the DPW organization page and the interactive web tracking system. Provides timely input and worksheets for required reports, e.g., IFS-M, RPLANS, PRISMS, and others as they arise. Compose all data and coordinated information after data or regulation approval and/or requirement(s). Responsible for setting up BIF (Building Information Files) according to Real Property Regulations 405-45, 405-80, 405-90, and 735-35. Assists with Real Estate projects, such as preparing non-objections, short-term licenses, etc. and routing them for proper signature and coordination prior for delivery to the customer. Corresponds and coordinates with the Real Estate Division at the Corps of Engineers regarding real estate issues with Fort Richardson out-grants. Operates the computer system used to store information used for maintaining project accountability. Establish and maintain computer-filing system for categorizing project information and correspondence. Route appropriate correspondence using Microsoft Outlook e-mail distribution software. Collects data upon guidance from Real Property Branch personnel to update data bases and files where authorized.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree from two year college and three years of general experience. Must have a current Alaska driver’s license. Must meet security level clearance requirements commensurate with the work accomplished as determined by contract orders

Financial Management Systems Operation, Management and Sustainment—Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) - Warner Robins, GA

S&K Aerospace, Inc. along with our teammates of General Dynamics Information Technology and S&K Technologies, Inc. are soliciting resumes to select personnel to provide services needed for the operation, management, and sustainment of Air Force Reserve (AFR) Financial Management Systems. Headquarters AFRC, Financial Management Directorate (AFRC/FM), located at Robins AFB, Georgia, is responsible for the management, design, development, implementation and maintenance of unique AFR Financial Management Systems. These Financial Management Systems process pay and budget information for AFR and active duty personnel located throughout the United States. AFRC/FM systems also support certain common Reserve component financial applications and data bases in use at such places as the Air National Guard and all active duty locations. The financial data produced by these systems is transferred through various communications networks such as local area networks (LAN), wide are networks (WAN), and Defense Data Networks (DDN). The program will primarily consist of: (1) programming and maintenance of 12 financial management systems and related software: (2) Help-Desk services to provide daily assistance to personnel to support these systems; (3) software releases for the financial management systems and maintenance training on those software releases; (4) database administration for consolidated databases located throughout the United States; and (5) connectivity issues for FM servers to include port allocation requirements and troubleshooting. The objectives of this program are to: (1) Provide software engineering, software programming, software life cycle management (SLCM), network, help desk, financial management functional expertise, and security support for Financial Management Systems. This includes development and maintenance of software applications to provide the user more flexible and powerful tools to accomplish their financial management tasks. (2) Provide software reengineering for the migration of systems into web-based systems for Microsoft Windows XP, Visual Basic, .NET, and Windows 2003 server environments. (3) Provide Software reengineering of several PC-based and MAPPER mainframe-based systems into .NET web-based systems. Duty location for all positions is Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia.

Portal Application Developer - Fort Richardson (Anchorage), Alaska

Description:  We currently have one immediate opening for an Application Developer. This individual will be part of a team that responds to business transformation issues for the US Army Garrison, Alaska by developing web enabled applications. Incumbents will work with a Team to gather requirements and provides feedback to customer, coordinate with design and technical staff on Portal development tasks, build user interface applications and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages, assist in project planning and Portal design, and authoring of complex Web pages. Telephone Repair Specialist - Fort Greely (Delta Junction), Alaska

Description:  Responds to service requests and isolation and repair of telephone troubles in support of Telephone Mechanics for the US Army at Fort Greely, Alaska. Maintain, install, de-install, move or include copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cable as needed and as associated with the administrative telephone system. Maintains, installs, de-installs, removes and moves all instruments, service lines, and LAN cabling associated with task order by installation of CAT 4/5/6 and multi-pair cable up to 8-pair cable. Installation and termination of fiber optic data cable. Installation of communications racks to include the punch down of voice and data circuits, labeling, and assignment of circuits. All work to be performed to accepted trade practices, manufacturer's guidelines, and/or guidelines established by the work center supervisor. On-call or emergency work requests may be required.

Qualifications: Minimum of a High School Diploma and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Current Alaska driver's license and Secret Government clearance (must be able to obtain and maintain clearance in order to continue employment).

This position is located on Fort Greely, Alaska. Fort Greely is a remote location and subject to extreme temperatures during winter months. A pay differential is associated with this position.

CAD/CAM Microstation Technician - Bridgeport, WA

Description:  The tech is responsible for conversion of technical drawings from hardcopy originals, duplicates and as-built documentation delivered at installation and since updated. The technical drawings include electrical wiring diagrams, control drawings, and network drawings. Verifying CAD drawings against source documentation and the hardware located in the dam itself is required. Checking out discrepancies with on-site technical experts and making corrections or updates as necessary.

Qualifications: A.A./Certification in an IT discipline plus three years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with Intergraph Microstation application and Intergraph Microstation workstations is desired. Must have demonstrated fluency in general office equipment, networking concepts, and Windows Operating Systems. A current driver’s license is required.
